I’ve been shooting weddings with my Shootsac for nearly 2 years now. Before the Shootsac I was using a Lowepro camera bag which not only killed my shoulder (it carried all my gear) it stuck out about a metre from my hip!! Okay maybe not a metre…but it wasn’t discreet that’s for sure! The last thing I wanted was to be knocking things (and small children) over at a wedding with my huge bag… It became a big problem for me because I didn’t want to leave my bag on the ground while I was shooting, and I didn’t want to wreck my shoulder either! Enter my lifesaver…the Shootsac. This was literally the first photo I took while wearing it. The main reason why I love my Shootsac is because it is so comfortable to shoot with! It’s a lens bag, and while most camera bags are designed for storing gear – the Shootsac is specifically designed to support you while shooting. It molds to your body so it’s very discreet, and your lenses are always accessible! You can carry up to four lenses at one time (1 on your camera shooting, and 3 in the Shootsac) it even fits the Canon 70-200mm 2.8! The material is Neoprene which is wetsuit grade. It seems to almost suck in your lenses, minimizing the bulk of them and keeping them totally secure while shooting. I also love that the bag has removable covers…if you read my November goals you would have seen I plan to make one this month! Watch this space…(hopefully…!)
