When I met Mike & Jenna on Kohi Beach in Auckland for their Engagement photos last winter. I immediately LOVED them, Jenna was such a fun bubbly person who has impeccable classic style, and I was so so happy to be their photographer. Jenna & Mike had such a beautiful, special wedding day at the Wharf a few weekends ago surrounded with family & friends, what a privilege it was to photograph. I got goosebumps more than once! Jenna & Mike, you are such kind, fun loving beautiful people. Your love for each other is completely sincere and real. I had the BEST time with you guys, thank you so much. xxx   Jenna got ready in the Penthouse of the Quadrant Hotel. I loved this room! So beautifully light and spacious. Jenna’s gorgeous dress was made by the ever amazing Jane Yeh. Orlando designed the beautiful floral creations. Jenna had pictures of Grandparents who had passed on, pinned to her bouquet. Mike has Scottish Heritage, so the family tartan was also wrapped around the stems of Jenna’s bouquet. Their invitation cards were amazing! I loved that they used a photograph from their Engagement session for them. Excitement… Yay! Jenna looked STUNNING. Her Dad thought so too. Jenna & Mike are originally from Dunedin, so lots of their family was up in Auckland for the wedding. Jenna & Mike chose the gorgeous venue, The Wharf to showcase Auckland’s harbour & surroundings. The ceremony was also held at the Wharf, I loved the mantle where they displayed their parents wedding photographs. Married! Ahh! I love everything about this gorgeous venue. It suited Jenna & Mike’s classic modern style to a tee. Even though the weather was mixed (not unusual at all for Auckland!) we still managed to get lots of lovely sun, and the wind made the girls dresses look amazing! Beautiful bride. Love the light! Rainbow flare was definitely a bonus. Loved this little detail on the bottom of their shoes! Jenna’s hairpiece looked incredible. Absolutely LOVE this location! I made a Guest Sign In book for Jenna & Mike from their Engagement session. Love it when couples have these at the wedding! Definitely beats a plain book to write in!
