October is here….already!! I can’t believe it. It’s already October 4th, and I can tell that this month is going to fly by, just like the last few months have. I’m feeling pretty happy with what I’ve achieved last month. For those of you lacking motivation….I dare you to write your goals on the internet! This has certainly helped keep me accountable, especially when people email and message me about my goals! Love it. My October is going to be spent partly in New Zealand, I’m going there for 10 days NEXT THURSDAY!! I’m quite excited (understatement). I can’t WAIT to see my family again & go on holiday with them, catch up with friends, photograph some fun portraits sessions, meet with brides and photograph two -what I know are going to be- AMAZING weddings on the 15th (Nadine & Sam) and the 22nd (Hiranthi & Shirantha)!! I’m also pretty excited to see some rugby world cup action… I’m not sure Victorians even know there is one happening…! It’s going to be a whirlwind trip! I’m SO excited that the wedding season has begun. I photographed my first one of the season last Saturday and it reminded me why I do this…I just LOVE everything about being a wedding photographer. Feeling very blessed.appreciative.loved.content.HAPPY. So, here are the goals for October! Onward! xx

 

REVIEW OF SEPTEMBER BUSINESS GOALS

Brainstorm ideas to promote Encore. Still need to do this…

Refine wedding systems. System is in place! Just need to see if I can keep to it in practice….

Vendor card template. Need to do this – THIS WEEK

Update iphone photos. Need to do this – THIS WEEK

Make client packs up. YES! Done.

Order custom bags. YES! Done. I can’t wait to show these off!

Order more booklets and business cards. YES! Done.

Refine blogging calender. YES! Done.

Organise folders on computer. YES! Done.

Get all clients Queensberry albums printed and sent (1 to go!) Hopefully will be sending by the end of the week.

Buy Album Exposure YES! Done.

Daily quiet time. YES! Done. This might be hard when I’m in NZ..

Regularly Skype family & friends in NZ. YES!

Organise photo shoot for Sam & I. Still need to do this… Although Sam has agreed to it, which is progress!

Regular date nights with Sam. YES! (or date days/afternoons/picnics)

Continue to run 5 days a week. YES! I can’t believe I’ve kept this up! I think it may be something to do with it not raining as much in Melbourne as it does in Auckland…

Keep building relationships with awesome new Melbourne friends! YES!

 

OCTOBER BUSINESS GOALS

Stick to the wedding system.

Don’t procrastinate with editing.

Investigate options for outsourcing editing.

Shoot my weddings well!

Love my clients.

Keep to blogging calender.

Take photos of my canvas prints and frames hung on walls.

Make a section on my website for printing and display examples.

Refine gift registry system.

Packaging – refine.

Do Pilates 3 times a week

Read 2 books (non business related) anyone have suggestions??

Find some new glasses (I very sadly lost my beloved ‘Kate’ glasses…)

Find a new hairdresser in Melbourne…although I will still be going to Ray at Elysium in Mt Eden whenever I’m in Auckland, he’s the best!

Find some great music to edit to…anyone have suggestions?
