So. A few weekends ago I shot a promo video with the INCREDIBLE Jared Brandon – check out his AMAZING work here. I got the idea to do a promo video through various photographers who I admire (mostly overseas) who were making videos for their business. I immediately LOVED the idea because it’s a great way of connecting with YOU, so you can see how I work, but mostly so you can catch a glimpse of who I am as a photographer AND a person :) I love video, I think it really reaches people effectively. The idea of a promo videos for photographers is relatively new in New Zealand, but I’m hoping it will take off – and if you need someone for the job, Jared is your man. Seriously, 2 days after shooting the video he sent me a first draft of the video :) :) I LOVED IT!!! He managed to do this between all his wedding video editing and filming. You will not find a more passionate guy than Jared, he is super. And I get to work alongside him again at a wedding next weekend! So excited.
