Anyone who knows me, will know that I have an obsession with natural skincare products. This started at a very early age, when one of my family members had breast cancer and didn’t want to use anything containing too many chemicals. Back then, nobody really knew about SLF (sodium laurel sulfate) and Parabens so it was hard to buy products that were any good and didn’t contain these chemicals. I started to give up when it was beginning to be impossible to find something that didn’t smell horrible and actually worked. I’m so glad that nowadays there is lots more range, so I just wanted to share some of my absolute FAVOURITE natural skincare products at the moment.
Above on the left is the gorgeous NZ made Linden Leaves body oil called Absolute Dreams. I LOVE this stuff! It’s perfect for straight before bed, after a hot shower or bath. It’s completely non-greasy and super moisturizing.
On the right (above) is a recent discovery. It’s called MILK, luxury body lotion by Naturally European. This is really lightly scented which I love, so it doesn’t interfere with my perfume (important!).
Below are my favourite every-day essentials. Skinfood are an amazing NZ company, I love their completely affordable range. I’m a bit sad actually because I don’t think they stock it in Oz…
Sukin are another amazingly affordable product. My skin can be a little dry so I love how rich their moisturizers are. Sukin are Australian owned.
I’m on the hunt at the moment for a great facial moisturizer that has a high SPF of 30+ so if anyone knows of anything let me know! I’d love to know if you have a favourite natural skincare range you think I should check out! (Just to feed my obsession a little bit more…) xx
Natural Instinct (which is an Australian company) has a spf30 facial moisturiser. You can find it in chemists and health food stores. Similar price to Sukin.

Hi Kate – I use Sukin as well – and I also use Trilogy. Dr Haushka (badly spelt) may have an SPF 30+ I use that make up range and its gorgeous!

Have you tried MooGoo products? Made from milk and they smell so good. Very natural and gentle. And I love Burt’s Bees too.
