Originally, these two had planned to tie the knot in 2013, but had to postpone because of changed circumstances and moving overseas to live in Hong Kong! They wanted to get married at home in New Zealand and after years of waiting, their special day was finally upon them last weekend. Heidi and Marcus are one of the sweetest, kindest couples I think I’ve ever met! A wedding is such an emotional occasion, and there was no shortage of many happy tears on this beautiful day. The weather on the morning of the wedding was a mixture of thunderstorms, dark clouds and lots of rain. But, in true Auckland fashion, the skies cleared to the most beautiful day right when we needed it to. Heidi and Marcus chose to have a First Look, which always makes me so happy, and have a few photos around Princes St and Albert Park with their small bridal party before their ceremony. During cocktail hour after the ceremony at St Marks in Remuera, we snuck off to Mount St John to capture the last rays of light amongst the grassy hills.

This beautiful day rounds up my wedding season, it was truly a special day to end on. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of my amazing brides and grooms I have had the privilege of photographing this season. You are all amazing, and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to do what makes my heart the happiest. I feel so blessed, and I pray you all have long, blissfully happy marriages. xx
