Hello! I can’t believe we are in August already (my birthday month!) July went crazy fast for me. Sam had a horrible flu a couple of weeks ago, we were feeling pretty house bound after staying at home for the week, so we headed out to the Mornington Peninsula for some fresh air. I’ve never been out there, and I have to say that it restored my faith in Victorian beaches. I do miss seeing the sea in Melbourne since we don’t live close by, but the MP was amazing. I have a couple of weddings at Sorrento and Port Phillip Estate soon, in the warmer months, which aren’t that far away! I’m really looking forward to going back.   AUGUST 2012 I wanted to write this post early in the month, so I would have more time to complete everything! I don’t know if anyone actually reads (or cares) about my ramblings of my goals, but I do go back to this blog post during the month, which (mostly) keeps me motivated and on track! So, August. (birthday month!) I have 2 weddings this month, one in Melbourne, one in New Zealand. I’m really looking forward to going back to NZ (even if it is only for a few days) to see everyone, and to meet with some amazing people that are going to be supporting Planted with Light. I can’t believe PWL is only 11 and a bit weeks away! I’m so excited. I’ve been loving watching the Olympics! Although we are in Australia…so sadly don’t get watch many kiwi events. But how amazing are those gymnasts? It’s so incredible what the human body is capable of.   SOME AUGUST BUSINESS GOALS   Organise details for Planted with Light, finish writing content. An hour a day of B-School. So excited that I have ordered all my new packaging! The goal this month is to print my custom stationery (I love handwritten notes!) Update website portfolio + blog slideshow headers. I have finally bought a ton of online storage (less hard drive storage!) so now I have to organise all my files that I want to store in the ‘cloud’. Complete Australian & NZ print pricing (I’m so excited to soon be offering a bigger & better range of printed + framed products!) Update proofing website with print prices & options. Send wedding vendors photos.   SOME PERSONAL GOALS   Quiet time in the mornings. Look for opportunities to do random acts of kindness. Organise a birthday dinner….it’s next week!   Have a wonderful month everyone xx
