I first met Emily at the Grand Wedding show I did last September. I found out she and Phil went to Hamilton high schools, I went to Waikato Diocesan at a similar time, so we know some of the same people. Lots of couples I am booking at the moment seem to know each other, I love this because sometimes I imagine that if my couples knew each other they would be friends. I am SO incredibly excited to be photographing Emily & Phil’s Hamilton wedding in February and I have no doubt that their Red Barn wedding will be absolutely beautiful. Emily suggested a place with long grass for their shoot, as we were walking around Mount St John Domain we were chatting and Emily told me she does karate! I love that underneath her soft, gentle presence she could break a piece of wood in half if she wanted… :) xx
