Lake Tarawera is a breathtakingly beautiful, piece of paradise. I can’t believe I had never visited this amazing place before Natalie & Andrew’s wedding! Natalie grew up here, so this place had extra special meaning for her. The preparations started in the morning at Natalie’s home overlooking the lake, she could see the boys approaching the jetty as she was getting dressed. Natalie & Andrew met on the jetty outside her place, where they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. We then left on the pontoon with the rest of the bridal party, to go to another part of the lakeside for more photos. This place is honestly a photographers dream! An hour later, we arrived at the ceremony location on the other side of the lake. Natalie and Andrew said their “I do’s” on the lake edge, to the tune of water gently lapping the shore. It was such a peaceful, gorgeous setting. After the ceremony, everyone walked across the lawn to the marquee for lunch, heartfelt speeches, and lots of dancing into the evening. Andrew surprised Natalie by singing her a song, which was incredibly sweet! This sailor also has a amazing voice. Andrew and Natalie, thank you so much for having us on your beautiful wedding day. We were honored to document your special day xx

Kate, this is beautiful. I love how the colors are so real. And the bride’s bouquet, stunning. Well done!
