Blair & Monique met on a blind date – although Blair had an advantage – Monique is an actress, and he used to admire her on TV! Monique was so nervous about the blind date she ended up crashing her car on the way home to get ready, and ended up sporting a black eye! Fast forward about 6 years, and these two are more in love than ever. Blessed with a beautiful daughter, their wedding day was extra special for their little family. The day before the wedding was torrential rain, pretty much all day. The forecast for the wedding day was looking to be the same, but in true Auckland style – it cleared up and the few spots of rain didn’t bother anyone! Some of Monique and Blairs friends were couples I have photographed in years past, it was awesome to see them again! Carly from Fossick and Forage did a spectacular job with styling, I had met Carly a few years ago at one of my Planted with Light workshops, so it was lovely catching up with all the familiar faces.

From Monique dressing her daughter Quinn in the morning, to the first dance in the tent outside framed by guests waving sparklers, the Ambers B&B in Silverdale Auckland provided a spectacular backdrop to their beyond gorgeous day filled with many special, heart filled moments.
