No one has a perfect relationship, or a perfect marriage. Each couple is unique and has their own story to tell. But do those who reach the heights get there by luck? I don’t think so. We need certain tools to build a strong, happy marriage. We have to find out about communication and ways of making each other feel loved. We have to learn to resolve conflict and practice forgiveness. Through it all, marriage is not easy, but it is so rewarding. We need as much help as we can get to invest in our relationships, to make them stronger and better.

I absolutely loved photographing Naomi and her husband Ben at beautiful Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. Witnessing a connection come to life, and being able to capture that beauty through my camera is so special to me. As a photographer, I feel so privileged that couples feel comfortable to be vulnerable for me, and capturing those sparks and connections is what makes me feel most alive.
