I’ve been thinking a lot about inspiration lately. I was asked recently ‘where do you get your inspiration?’ and to be honest, I really had to think hard about it! I’ve realised in order for inspiration to come, I need to be organised. Not in the sense that I’m so organised there is no room for spontaneity or creativity, but organised so I have the ROOM in my mind for inspiration. When I have a clear, defined schedule and I’m writing things down (not just relying on my mind to remember everything) I have room to be inspired. Earlier in the week, I came across Good Company – a creative ‘nest’ of a photographer, a graphic designer, a caterer, and a florist. I loved the idea of the collaboration, the simple beauty of their images on the website, and felt inspired.   I love everything about these images. Sourced from here and here. I also wrote down words and other things that currently are inspiring to me. The sources of my inspiration are always growing and changing…I think it depends on what stage of life you are in.
