Caitlin & Chris met completely by chance through family about 2 years ago, and have been inseparable ever since! Chris proposed to Caitlin on New Years Eve last year, somewhere in the middle of the ocean on a cruise. Being the organised person she is, Caitlin was already booking things in for the wedding as soon as they arrived back in Melbourne.

Laura from Weddings of Desire was styling their day, and I couldn’t wait to see what she had put together! A beautiful archway made of white floaty fabric and tied together with gorgeous Peonies made the most perfect setting to say their vows under, in the garden at Gladioli Restaurant in the small country town of Inverleigh. After the ceremony, the bridal party and I walked next door for a few photographs in the nearby orchard. It was 34 degrees by then, but nobody was complaining! I loved how easy going, happy and relaxed everyone was!

The reception was held at The Pier in Geelong Harbour. Tables were dotted with candles and little rose pots, love quotes by Mark Twain further helped to emphasis a romantic vibe for the evening. Caitlin changed into a beautiful ‘Grace Loves Lace‘ Dress part way through the evening, which was a fun surprise for everyone. The Pier is completely surrounded in water, so it was a beautiful view to watch the sun setting over the water, whilst listening to hilarious and emotional speeches, eating fresh seafood, tucking into an amazing dessert bar, and dancing the night away.
