I first met Renee in 2013 at Katelyn James‘ wedding photography workshop in Adelaide! When I heard that she was engaged, I was overwhelmed with gratitude that she wanted me to photograph her’s and Tristan’s special day. Being a talented photographer herself, I consider it a huge compliment Renee chose me to photograph her wedding!
Renee & Tristan were married on a private property Jura House in the Adelaide Hills. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the light was in South Australia! It’s very different country to Queensland, and the farm was gorgeous.
Renee had a vision of creating an intimate celebration with unique elements such as the incredible Tipi marquee, and having the dance floor under the stars and festoon lights. Links and supplier details are listed at the bottom of this post.
I was so happy they were keen to have a First Look, and see each other before the ceremony. It was such a special moment, and it carved out some precious space and time for just the two of them.
Tristan’s reaction to his gorgeous bride walking towards him down the aisle was absolutely priceless! The tears were flowing, it was a beautiful emotional moment.
You guys, thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding memories. Renee, I loved that because you’re also a photographer you anticipated all of my needs, you were an absolute dream to work with!
I know you both have an incredible future, I feel so blessed to have captured the beginning of your life together as husband and wife. Thank you. xx
