I have 3 younger sisters and Esther, who is closest in age to me, was in Melbourne for 6 hours yesterday! She is en route to Europe. I was so glad Melbourne was a convenient stopover so I could spend some time with her! She isn’t just going for a holiday, she’s embarking on an adventure to London for two years. Her friend Anna is going with her, and they are probably still in the air right now! Crazy. Anna hadn’t been to Melbourne since she was little, so we explored the city for a few hours and of course I brought my camera, so an impromptu photo shoot in one of the alleyways was necessary.

I’m going to miss this face so much!

I’m eternally grateful we have amazing technology like Skype (which we use all the time) but it’s not going to be the same! I’m just looking forward to visiting Europe, hopefully soon. We went to a Greek restaurant, Stalactites, for dinner last night before we farewelled Esther and Anna (which was incredible) the girls told the waiters they were going to Greece that night. I’m only slightly jealous! Okay maybe more than slightly… I wouldn’t mind going to the Greek Islands for two weeks… then Istanbul + Turkey for two weeks before London!

Esther, I hope you have an incredible, life enriching, AMAZING experience. I can’t wait to see you over there! I love you! xx
