“We all want to live our best life but sometimes that inner critic can get the best of us, or maybe we’re simply lacking that fierceness to take the leap of faith we’re destined for. Sometimes we find ourselves at a crossroad, or maybe at a stand still, stripped bare of our confidence and lacking self-esteem. Well ladies, have I got something for you, come with me, take my hand and let’s ‘Find Your Fierce’. Kayla Boyd.”
A full day of self-love, luxury, entertainment, and empowering connections, covering all things from life, love, career and most importantly womanhood. The room was packed with over 150 like-minded women from all industries and walks of life. It was a positive, supportive environment leaving everyone empowered, inspired, and motivated to live their best life.
Guests were treated to an exquisite lunch with drinks, the David Jones fashion show, guest speakers including Revie Jane, Mon Palmer and Lauren Brandt. Musical entertainment by the Sheppard Girls, a live Q and A with Kayla Boyd and a mental health activation with Darius Boyd and Jason Fiddes.
All proceeds raised on the day were donated directly to The Sullivan Family Foundation, supporting Estelle and Matilda after losing Mark Sullivan devoted husband and father to his battle with brain cancer in November last year. Estelle was incredibly brave, and shared her incredibly emotional story with everyone.
It was such a treat to photograph at The Joinery in West End again, and lovely to meet and work alongside Rosie from Rosie Van Films. Avideas and Harper Arrow styled the event to perfection, making my job incredibly easy!
“In these moments, it’s important to remember that your temporary circumstances are not your permanent identity. If you’re going to engage fully with life, you’re not going to get off this planet without a few wounds and scars. It’s up to you whether you choose to let them inform you or define you.”
