Save the date! I’m SO excited to be announcing a new date for Planted with Light! Monday, 20 October 2014. This will be the third wedding photography workshop I have run since starting PWL in 2012. I’m incredibly grateful to have this opportunity to share a few things I have learnt from being a wedding photographer for the past 5 years.

I believe photographers are stronger when we come together and support each other. Higher quality work and customer service means cream rises to the top, which forces everyone else to bring their A-game. I know there might seem to be an overload of photographers, but I don’t believe in competition because there is only ONE of you on the planet! No one will be able to give brides and grooms the same experience as you. I’m really passionate about sharing ways you can stand out and be unique as a photographer. You can learn anything you want online, but there is something about meeting people face-to-face that online learning can never replace. The community and relationships created as a result of the workshop have been invaluable.

Planted with Light is held at my parents home in the country, 1 hour south of Auckland. It is limited to 15 attendees to maintain a personal and intimate environment.
