Sarah & Justin were married at Cassels on a lovely Autumn day a few weekends ago. I hadn’t met these two (expect for Skype chats) before their wedding day, but I could tell Sarah was super organised and everything went off without a hitch! I LOVE that these guys chose to have a First Look and have photographs before the ceremony (especially great in Autumn because daylight runs out quickly!) I just love ‘first look’ moments. Lenny & Esther organised their beautiful wedding from the UK. From the gorgeous florals from Leaf & Honey, to the beautiful venue at Cassels every detail represented Lenny & Esther fun loving personalities, to create a lovely backdrop for what was most important – Lenny & Esther declaring their love for one another in front of their family and friends. Committing their lives to one another forever. Congratulations guys! It was such a pleasure to be with you on your special day. Charlotte & Edward pledged their love for one another surrounded by their closest family and friends in the sand dunes overlooking Karekare, an amazing black-sand beach on the west coast of New Zealand. Charlotte had spent her childhood just a few metres back from the beach, in the house where the reception was held and where her parents still live. When I arrived at Charlotte’s preparations at her Grandmothers house, it was like walking into a scene from a Jane Austen novel. The room was filled with shrieking girls, hand clapping games, gasps of adoration of each other and especially of Charlotte. Edward and Charlotte, what a joy it was to be part of your beautiful relaxed wedding day! Your love for one another was completely transparent – I hope this is the start of many more wonderful memories and moments together xx

I met Rebecca & Anthony for their engagement session way back in December 2010! These two have been engaged for a while and I was so excited for them when their special day finally arrived. It was raining for most of the day, but it didn’t matter one bit. We had so much fun with you guys! Thank you for trusting me and ditching your umbrellas for a few minutes in not so ‘light’ rain… xx I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Port Douglas (they won their honeymoon from a competition at The Grand Wedding Show!!!) and are loving married life. Here’s to many more moments of snuggling & kissing in the rain xx

Sammy & Dan were married on a beautiful summery day in the back yard of a private residence at Waihi beach. Sammy did such a wonderful job in making the wedding of her dreams come true, she transformed a normal back yard into a spectacularly beautiful spot for her and Dan to say ‘I do.’ xx

Amber & James were married at Chardy Ridge on Waiheke Island. Since receiving Amber’s email about an idea (that has since turned into this incredible business), several coffee dates and catch ups later…  Amber had turned into a lovely friend. Amber & James’ wedding day was the perfect balance of stillness and calm combined with shrieking fits of laughter. I’ll always remember Amber & I getting in the car together for her to meet James for their first look. The driver shut the door…and we both squealed! This day meant so much to them, what an amazing pleasure it was to capture all the beauty. Congratulations Amber & James xxx
