I’m so excited to share Olivia & Stuart’s beautiful Queensberry album with you! Olivia & Stuart were married in March. They had a gorgeous day in Hamilton, I felt so blessed to be able to share in it with them. See their full wedding post here. I LOVE Queensberry albums and when my clients choose to have one, I always feel so reassured in knowing their precious memories will be preserved forever.

Olivia & Stuart chose a 10×14″ digital (when the photos go right to the edge of the page) album with two smaller parent books, which are digital replicas of the main album. Note: The photographs in the album are not blurry – this is just how I photographed it. xx

September 22, 2011 Spread Love: Jess & Dave

Jess & Dave were married in March, see the original blog post here. They had most of their photographs on the beautiful black sands of Bethells Beach. I was so excited to design their gorgeous 10×14″ Queensberry Duo album in the eggshell coloured leather – the softest leather imaginable! Unfortunately I was overseas at the time of printing, so didn’t get to see the album in the flesh…but I hope you guys are loving it! xx

The cover was blind embossed, this (above) isn’t a great representation of it but take my word for it – It looks amazing!

Jess prepared for her big day at her amazing house (her father is an architect) which was a flurry of activity. I love the look on Jess’s face when the Kombi van arrived!

Ready to be married! Jess stopped in to visit her grandmother before the ceremony who wasn’t able to make it. Very special moment. The girls said a quick prayer in the church bathroom before Jess walked down the aisle with her proud Dad to meet a nervous Dave.

He liked what he saw. I think he visibly relaxed the moment he saw Jess!

Love this landscape. NZ is so naturally gorgeous.

Jess was so radiant. They were both just bursting with happiness! It was such an amazing day filled with love.

The evening reception was held at Allely House in Kumeu where their fairytale continued… xx

Vinny & Liz’s elegant, heartfelt wedding would have to be one of my absolute favorites from last summer. I fell in LOVE with Liz’s gorgeous Kate Dowman dress and every detail of their day was stunning. It was such a pleasure and a privilege to be involved in their celebration of love, and I had so much fun creating their beautiful Queensberry Duo album. Liz also ordered a smaller copy for her mum, which I hear she is loving… xx

“We opened our albums last night. They are GORGEOUS! We certainly chose the best when we picked you as our photographer and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Mum adores her wee copy and she is going to keep it in her bag to show her work buddies and friends. Ours, of course, will be passed around all our friends over the coffee table!

Your photos are so beautifully romantic that I’m sure you’ll be an internationally renowned wedding photographer someday! Keep it up because you definitely have a God-given gift that blesses so many couples.”

September 8, 2011 Spread Love – Amber & Daniel’s Queensberry Album

I photographed Amber & Dan’s wedding last December. My favourite part of their wedding was when Amber saw her Grandfather before the ceremony, as he couldn’t make it. So special. I also loved it how it POURED with rain (in true Auckland temperamental style) and it didn’t bother anyone. Whenever it rains at a weddings I’ve photographed, it always adds to the excitement of the day! Trust me! It’s never a problem. Amber & Dan are now living in Canada, so this album arrived just in time! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see it in the flesh, because I was in Melbourne by then, but I hope you guys are loving it! xxx

August 29, 2011 Spread Love – Danae & Cole Queensberry Album

One thing I am really passionate about in my business is a desire to see the ‘finished product’. It’s heart breaking for me to think that once a wedding is over, the images that tell the story of the day sit on a disc, unused and unseen. That’s not to say that I don’t offer a disc to my clients, I do. The first wedding collection I offer includes the 6×4″ digital images from the day. The rest of the album collections include the high resolution images.

I’m committed not only to amazing imagery, but also high end design. Queensberry Albums are stunning, and I’m so happy that more and more of my clients are choosing a collection that includes an album. Every client that does, receives the high resolution digital images as a thank you. I’m trying to put emphasis on a priceless heirloom such as an album, instead of disc that may eventually stop working ten years down the track.

Below is the layout of Danae & Coles beautiful 12×12″ Queensberry matted Album, who were married last October. I just realised I haven’t really shown any of my clients albums off on the blog! So stay tuned for more. Have a wonderful Monday xx

I have finally finished it!! We got married nearly 2 years ago now… It’s all sent to Queensberry (my first album with them) now I just have to wait to get it back! I’m so excited.
