The small, and the seemingly insignificant. These are the top 5 things making my life a little bit sweeter in the month of February.
Downton Abbey // I know I’m a little late to the party with this, but my Mum received the box set from my sister for Christmas, and while I’m staying with my parents at the moment before our big move, we’ve been watching it every night! Completely addictive, but oh so good.
Freshwater Pearl Necklace // I bought this from Erin McDermott when Emily Ley mentioned it on her blog. I love the explanation for the sideways cross – “It’s a symbol of Jesus’ finished work – having procured our salvation, He has laid his cross down.” I have worn this most days in February, and I love it’s simplicity.
Breakfast // Discovering new places with my sisters, for my favourite meal of the day. I can never seem to get past the Eggs Benedict, and this one was seriously the best I think I’ve ever had. Shaky Isles in Newmarket. If you live in Auckland, get there!
Podcasts // This is the busiest time of year for me, and I have been chained to my computer for most of the week editing beautiful weddings. I love listening to podcasts when I work, and there seems to be new ones popping up each week! I have just discovered this one, and also love listening to the girls on the Being Boss podcast.
Raw Salted Caramel Chocolate Bark // Need I say more?! It’s amazing, and it’s healthy as far as sweet treats go! Which is what I tell myself when I eat copious amounts… Recipe here from Bestow Beauty. I also highly recommend their recipe books!
