Sam and Amity were married at Spicers Hidden Vale, an hour west of Brisbane. They booked out the entire venue so their guests could stay the evening, and enjoy the celebrations.
SPICERS, HIDDEN VALE QLD
SAM & AMITY
Meg & Nathan planned their wedding while they were living in Japan. After being grounded by the pandemic, their big wedding plans were changed to an intimate celebration with only immediate family present, and it was the perfect day.
Melissa & Sam met at University and were friends for 4 years before Sam messaged (after one too many drinks) to say he would "move mountains for her", and he's been true to his word since. The traditional ceremony was held at St. Mary's church Kangaroo Point, followed by tea and cake in the garden honouring Melissa's English background, with the reception at Bougainvillea House, Howard Smith Wharves.
An explosion of colour from the stunning blooms created by Kate Dawes Flower Design, Josey was radiant and her natural beauty enhanced by Renee Jean Makeup and Bella Brides. Josey's Karen Willis Holmes gown suited her personality perfectly - classy with a side of sass with the beautiful split in the side. The Calile Hotel remains one of my very favourite venues in Brisbane, an aesthetic dream.
Michael & Sanja celebrated their wedding day honouring the different traditions of their Italian and Serbian cultures. A day full of emotion, meaningful customs, family, food and incredible dancing!
Talei & Mitch married on the Wynnum Esplanade next to the water. After photos at sunset, the reception was held at the couples backyard. They spent months planning the perfect backyard celebration, and it went off without a hitch!
Douglas and Ruth were married at the grand Brisbane Town Hall, their day was styled to perfection by For Love & Loving, beautiful blooms by Mrs Gibbons Flowers. The celebrations continued on the roof at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (QGOMA).
April & Tim exchanged vows in New Farm Park by the Brisbane River, with their Cat Dot the only guest. They drank champagne, ate chocolate and strawberries. It was a beautiful romantic celebration for just the two of them.
Alex and Em are from Melbourne and had a destination wedding at the beautiful tropical location in North Queensland, Port Douglas. The day was so emotional, full of love and the most fun celebration!
Kate & Alex were married at a beautiful private property in the Scenic Rim of Queensland. Their wedding was a micro celebration with only their immediate families present. Kate wore a customised version of her Mum's wedding dress from the 70's.
